Danny Paul
Danny Paul recently became our pastor in February 2023, after our previous pastor of 27 years retired. Danny was born and raised in Virginia. After graduating from high school, he attended Central Baptist College in Conway. He graduated with a B. A. in Bible in 1996. In 2016, he received a Master of Divinity in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Wake Forest, NC. Danny has served churches in Washington, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Arkansas. He has worn many different hats over the years serving in these places.
Danny married Joy in 2001 and they have 3 children. Joy is a 5th-grade Teacher with Russellville Schools. Danny enjoys reading and is almost always reading 2 or 3 books. He also loves the challenges, creative process, and completion of woodworking projects. He also loves alliteration but attempts to always avoid awkward alliteration. He is a fan is science fiction, loving almost everything that has to word “star” in it, whether it be wars or treks.
